Project Management (Virtual Reality)

Human Condition was a site-specific art exhibition staged in a former hospital in West Adams, curated by John Wolf and featuring work from over sixty artists including Larry Clark, Amir H. Fallah, Jenny Holzer, Robert Mapplethope, Marilyn Minter, Ed Templeton, and many more.

The show used the 40,000-square-foot space, including surgical rooms, maternity wards, and psychiatric floors, to examine the human experience through immersive installations, sculpture, painting, and performance. With the building’s history as the first Black-owned hospital in LA and its later decline and closure, artists were invited to respond to the space’s psychological and physical weight. I collaborated with director Angel Manuel Soto to produce an immersive virtual reality short that captured the scale and atmosphere of the exhibition.
