"Brick By Brick" was a compelling, profile-driven original web video series produced by RYOT that highlighted a different street artist and global creator every week by challenging them to adapt their voice to an unconventional, restricted medium. For this episodic documentary series, I helped curate the featured artists, handled all talent outreach and scheduling, and managed the post-production workflow to bring each episode to completion. The series provided each artist with a blank cinder block canvas, tracking their creative process and documenting intimate interviews as they downscaled their typical large-format aesthetics, ranging from sprawling public graffiti stencils to intricate fine art paintings, onto a small, textured surface. Featuring prominent contemporary creators such as Plastic Jesus, Ralph Ziman, Annie Preece, Morley, and Brian Robertson, the digital media campaign explored the deep intersection of ambition, hustle, and artistic adaptation. By combining dynamic close-up cinematography with candid storytelling, the project successfully captured the fluid dialogue between fine art and urban landscape textures, functioning as a vital stepping stone for cultivating profound community connections with international muralists and local art scenes.
